Alpha v0.4.4 is ready to download. Here is what changed:
- A knife on key 3, left click stabs, right click slashes, backstabs hit hard
- weapons really kick now, each with its own pattern, spraying takes control
- weapon switching and aiming are faster, one click on an empty magazine, pistols need a trigger release, a dropped weapon leaves your hands
- the rifle sits straight, reloads look the same in every stance
- the dead fall like people, the way they were shot
- the kill mark is dark red and thin, the skull shows on every headshot
- bottom right shows only the weapon image and ammo
- a new outdoor map, Open field, with grass and sky
- a drivable jeep in the Arena, three seats, F to get in
- voice chat on K, works once the voice permission is enabled in the Epic portal
- range targets are unarmed and there are no bots
- the crosshair colour shows in the settings
- Alt-Tab is clean
